# Terms of Service – Masadir Child Health Tracker

## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Masadir Child Health Tracker (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Masadir Media Co WLL (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
## 2. User Accounts
– You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account
– You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
– One account per email address
– You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the App
– You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
## 3. Household and Data Ownership
### 3.1 Household Structure
– A household represents a family unit tracking one or more children
– Each household has one Admin and optional Editors and Viewers
– The Admin is the household data steward and primary data controller
– Households can have multiple members with different permission levels
### 3.2 Data Ownership
**IMPORTANT:** All health records entered for children belong to the HOUSEHOLD and the child’s legal guardians, NOT to individual users who enter data.
– When you log data, you are contributing to the child’s permanent health record
– Health records remain with the household when users leave
– The Admin (typically a parent or legal guardian) is the data controller
– Contributors acknowledge that entries become part of the child’s medical history
– The household, not individual contributors, owns and controls all child health data
### 3.3 User Roles and Permissions
**Admin:**
– Full control over all household data and members
– Can add, edit, and delete all entries regardless of who created them
– Can invite new members and remove existing members
– Can manage household settings and baby profiles
– Can transfer the admin role to another member
– Cannot leave the household without first transferring the admin role
– Responsible for ensuring data accuracy and member management
**Editor:**
– Can add new health entries (feeds, sleep, diapers, medications, journal)
– Can edit and delete their own entries only
– Cannot edit or delete entries created by other members
– Cannot manage household members or settings
– Cannot delete baby profiles
– Cannot access admin functions
**Viewer:**
– Read-only access to all household data
– Can view all entries, statistics, and reports
– Cannot add, edit, or delete any data
– Useful for extended family members or caregivers who need visibility
## 4. Leaving a Household
### 4.1 Members (Editor/Viewer)
– Editors and Viewers may leave a household at any time
– All health records you contributed remain with the household
– Your attribution (name associated with entries) may be anonymized upon request
– Your personal account remains active and can join or create another household
– Leaving does not delete your user account
### 4.2 Admin
– Admins CANNOT leave a household without first transferring the admin role
– This requirement protects the continuity of the child’s health records
– To leave, an Admin must:
1. Transfer the admin role to another household member
2. Wait for the new admin to accept the transfer
3. Then leave as an Editor/Viewer
– If no other members exist, the Admin must delete the household entirely
## 5. Right to Erasure
Under applicable privacy laws, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:
– You can request deletion of your user account and personal information
– Health records you contributed remain as part of the child’s medical history
– Attribution (your name on entries) can be removed or anonymized if requested
– The household admin retains the right to manage all health records
– Health data continuity is maintained for the child’s benefit
**Why health records stay:** Child health records have medical significance and should not be deleted when a contributor leaves. This ensures continuity of care and complete medical history for healthcare providers.
## 6. Data Accuracy
– Users are responsible for the accuracy of data they enter
– The Admin can correct or delete inaccurate entries from any user
– This App is a tracking tool, not medical advice
– Always verify important health information with healthcare providers
– The Company is not responsible for decisions made based on data in the App
## 7. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
– Use the App for any unlawful purpose
– Attempt to access other households’ data
– Share account credentials with others
– Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or modify the App
– Use the App to store or transmit malicious content
– Misrepresent your identity or relationship to a child
– Enter false health information
– Violate any applicable laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain or your jurisdiction
## 8. Disclaimer
**IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER:**
– This App is for informational and tracking purposes ONLY
– The App is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
– Always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical decisions
– Never delay seeking medical attention based on information in this App
– In medical emergencies, contact emergency services immediately
– The Company is not responsible for any medical decisions made using the App
## 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
### 9.1 Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
### 9.2 Jurisdiction
– Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain
– If you are located outside Bahrain, you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of Bahraini courts
– You waive any objection to venue in the courts of Bahrain
– Legal proceedings must comply with Bahraini court procedures

– Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
